About Meg's kitchen

Welcome to Meg’s kitchen where you can learn Japanese cooking using fresh seasonal ingredients and organic vegetables. In my classes, you will learn how to make and enjoy authentic home-style Japanese cooking different from what you might experience in restaurants.
In each lesson, you will learn four kinds of Japanese dishes from appetizers, soups to main dishes with a small group of students. After each lesson, you will enjoy your food served in beautiful Japanese dishes with a glass of Sake or beer!

You can also choose to attend classes commingled with Japanese students where you can make Japanese friends and experience Japanese culture and family life first-hand.

Also, I will be glad to accommodate your needs such as private on-site classes, children’s classes, Tempura or Sushi cooking classes, etc. Please let me know.

3,500 Yen per class.
(Class fee may differ depending on the class location and need for English recipe.)

Flow of the class

① Explanation of the recipe
Four to five dishes using simple ingredients you can get in the regular market, which could be added to your party menu depending on how you serve.

② Explanation of how to cook
I will explain main steps of the cooking.
Detail will be explained while we actually cook.

③ Cooking together

④ Tasting
Cleaning after tasting.

Please expect the class to be about three hours from the beginning to the end.
